Before you start

Before you start, the honest answers

No. The check on this page is free and there is no obligation. You only pay if you go ahead and a doctor decides treatment is appropriate for you. If it is not right for you, you pay nothing for medication.

GLP-1 medication is well studied and SAHPRA-registered, but it is not right for everyone. That is exactly why a registered doctor reviews your history first, starts you on a low dose, steps it up slowly, and stays reachable. Side effects are usually gut-related, most often nausea in the first weeks, and they tend to settle.

We will not promise you a number. In trials, average weight loss ran from about 8% to over 20% of body weight, and your result can be different. What we can promise is a proper assessment, genuine medication, and a doctor who reviews you as you go.

Then you are told why, plainly, and pointed toward other options. A no is a real answer here. You pay nothing for medication that is not recommended for you.

The answers on this page never leave your browser. Nothing here is stored or sent to us. When you go on to the full assessment, your medical information is handled under POPIA and used only to provide your care.
